And the Jan Hammer concerts are really interesting . The BERLIN 1976 concert is good sound quality and has great versions of songs like My Children , Stepping Stones and I Remember Me from the Like Children album as well as killer version of Red and Orange from the Oh Yeah album . The Jan Hammer Group concert at Ratso's Chicago 1976 has rare live versions of a couple of songs from the Seven Days album , it also opens with Sister Andrea , which Hammer wrote when he was with Mahavishnu Orchestra.

The Chick Corea Electrik Band concert (Lewisham jazz festival London -198 has Frank Gambale on gtr . It opens with a John Pattitucci song - Change Of Season . If anyone is familiar with that song from Pattitucci's solo album , wait till you hear this awesome live version of it.

Well Rich, you continue to outdo yourself. I've been following the uploading and the really special thing about these performances are that they are from bands that didn't release more than one album/cd if any. these are all superbands that were too heavy for commercial release.
I'm listening to Holdsworth playing the blues with Stanley Clark and Steve Smith and it is priceless.
recently checked out Scott Henderson playing a full performance with the Chick Corea Electrik band which you can't find in any commercial release. great sound.
it's getting redundant, I know, but this archive is simply off the charts.
thanx man, David

As a fusion head from the 70's to early 80s,this is a pleasure to see a site dedicated to jazz fusion music. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to seeing and hearing more great fusion music.
May I suggest adding some Azymuth and some Casiopea to the playlist.

Thanks!

Thank you so very much for keeping these amazing performances alive. They are nothing short of amazing and an important record of Jazz history. I never knew how much I liked Herbie Hancock untill I found this website. Thank you for opening my ears and imagination. You ROCK!
